A KOVA subscription means a new 30-day supply arrives at your door — automatically, on time, without effort. These Subscription Terms explain exactly how your subscription works, what flexibility you have, and what happens in every scenario.

You can switch between plans at any time through your account portal at takekova.com/account. Plan changes take effect at your next billing date. The 3-month plan is pre-selected at checkout because it aligns with creatine’s 4–6 week loading period — giving you enough time to experience the full benefit before your subscription auto-renews.
How billing works
Billing cycle
Your first payment is taken at the time you place your order. Subsequent payments are taken automatically on the same calendar date each billing period. If your billing date falls on a day that does not exist in a given month (e.g. 31st in a 30-day month), the charge falls on the last day of that month.
Renewal notification — we always warn you first
We will send you a renewal reminder email 5–7 days before every scheduled charge, containing: the exact amount (incl. VAT), the exact charge date, your current delivery address, and one-click links to skip, pause, or cancel. We will never charge you without this advance notice.

Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel your KOVA subscription at any time, without giving a reason, and without any cancellation fee or penalty.
Under the Wet van Dam (Dutch Civil Code, Article 6:236 sub p), you have the right to cancel any subscription contract at any time with one month’s notice. In practice, KOVA allows cancellation with immediate effect at any time — we exceed this legal minimum.
Under §312k BGB (Kündigungsbutton), German law requires that subscription cancellation must be possible via a clearly marked button. Our “Verträge hier kündigen” button is located in the footer of every page on takekova.com, as required by law.

After you cancel
- You will receive a cancellation confirmation email within 1 business day
- No further charges will be made after the effective cancellation date
- Any order already dispatched before your request is not reversed
- Your account remains accessible for 3 years — order history and preferences are retained
- Your aluminium vessel is yours to keep. Cancelling does not affect ownership of the vessel
Price changes
30 days’ notice minimum — We will notify you of any price change affecting your active subscription at least 30 days before it takes effect, by email.
Right to cancel — If you do not accept a price change, you may cancel your subscription before the change takes effect, without penalty.
VAT changes are excluded — VAT rate changes imposed by law are not considered a “price change” for the purposes of this commitment and apply immediately.

Founding member pricing & gift subscriptions
Founding member pricing
The first 500 customers to subscribe receive founding member pricing: €24.95/month for life, regardless of subsequent standard price increases. This pricing is locked to the original subscription, is not transferable, and is forfeited if the subscription is cancelled and later reactivated (reactivations receive the standard price at that time). It is maintained through pauses and plan changes.
Gift subscriptions
- Gift subscriptions are prepaid for a fixed duration (1, 3, or 6 months) and do not auto-renew unless the recipient actively subscribes
- The gift giver pays in full at purchase. A gift code is emailed to the giver for delivery to the recipient
- Gift subscriptions are non-refundable once redeemed. Unredeemed codes may be refunded within 14 days of purchase
- The 14-day right of withdrawal applies to the gift giver (as the contracting party) — not to the recipient
